The best parts of leading for me is definitely seeing campers grow in their faith, and having a laugh or mucking around with campers really puts smile on my dial. JAMES HILL

EMPOWER 2018
Saturday 17 February
Click HERE to visit the official Facebook Event for Empower where you can access details about the day, Keynote Speaker, Elective units and other information.
Click HERE to register for Empower 2018.
EMPOWER is the LYV's leadership training day to equip pastors, camp leaders, parents and congregation members to better minister to youth and young people. Its made up of a keynote presentation and electives.
Empower 2017's keynote speaker was Emma Graetz from Grassroots training talking about how to be a positive person of influence. 'The power of influence has the potential to be huge and can have both a positive and negative effect on ourselves, those around us, the world and our reltionship with God. As children of God, where is he calling us to be people of influence, and how does He use us to be the influence he created us to be?'
LYV values the quality of our camps and youth ministry, which includes the quality of our leaders. We are committed to continuing to grow and equip our leaders, no matter what stage on their journey they are on. No matter whether you are a new or experienced leader, there is always something new to learn as God continues to shape and grow you. Empower is an important and compulsory part of the training we require leaders to do. If you are unable to attend Empower in 2018 and are still interested in leading, please still contact us via the APPLY HERE page on this website.
